When a caution sign is the right call
CAUTION is the lowest of the three hazard signal words. Use it when ignoring the sign could lead to a minor or moderate injury. If the hazard could kill or seriously hurt someone, step up to WARNING or DANGER. We wrote up the full breakdown in danger vs warning vs caution signs.
Why engraved beats a sticker on the plant floor
A printed caution sign is ink on a film. Oil, degreaser, pressure washing and forklift scuffs take it apart. An engraved lamacoid has no ink. The cutter goes through the yellow surface and exposes the black core, so the lettering is the material itself. Scratch it and it's still readable.
We cut yellow/black as standard. Any wording, any size, with or without a pictogram, drilled for screws or backed with adhesive.

Caution Signs: common questions
What colour is a caution sign?
Caution signs use safety yellow with black lettering. On an engraved lamacoid that is a yellow surface layer over a black core, so the black text and header band are cut into the plate.
What is the difference between a caution sign and a warning sign?
CAUTION is for hazards that could cause minor or moderate injury. WARNING is for hazards that could cause death or serious injury. Pick the signal word based on how bad the worst likely outcome is.
