Mount it where the hazard is
Machine hazard signs work best right at the hazard: the guard, the nip point, the hot housing. That is also where printed signs die fastest. Engraved phenolic handles oil, coolant and wipe-downs, and can be screwed or riveted to the guard itself.
Small formats for guards and housings
Not every guard has room for a 10 × 7 sign. We cut small plates for tight spots, and can drop the header and keep just the pictogram and a short line of text where space is tight. Pair them with caution signs at the cell entrance.

Machine Safety Signs: common questions
Which signal word should a pinch point sign use?
Most pinch point and hot surface signs use CAUTION or WARNING, depending on how severe the likely injury is. Moving machinery that can cause serious injury usually gets WARNING.
Can you make small signs for machine guards?
Yes. We cut small formats sized to the guard or housing.
Will engraved signs hold up to oil and coolant?
Phenolic has good chemical resistance and there is no ink to wash off. Tell us what fluids the sign will see and we will confirm the material.
