Signs that last longer than the job
Site signs get zip-tied to fence, screwed to hoarding, taken down and put up again at the next job. A printed sign is done after one or two moves. What usually goes at the gate
Most sites post a construction area / authorized personnel sign, the PPE required past that point (hard hat, eye protection, often hearing protection), and a DANGER KEEP OUT for excavations, roofs or energized areas. What signs are needed on a construction site in Ontario?
That depends on the project and the hazards, and your site safety program and the Ontario construction regulation (O. Reg. 213/91) set the requirements. Most sites post site identification, PPE required, authorized personnel only and signs for specific hazards such as excavations, overhead work and energized equipment.
Can construction signs be reused between jobs?
Yes. Engraved phenolic signs are rigid and have no print layer, so they can be taken down and put up again on the next site. We drill holes for screws, rivets, zip ties or fence wire.
Do you make custom site signs with our company name?
Yes. Any design can have your company name, a site number or a contact line added in the sign builder.
